Block Reservations Options for Tennis Directors Posted on October 15, 2019October 15, 2019 by Justin at PoolDues [spb_blank_spacer height=”80px” width=”1/1″ el_position=”first last”] [spb_row element_name=”Row” wrap_type=”content-width” parallax_image_height=”content-height” parallax_image_movement=”fixed” parallax_image_speed=”0.5″ bg_video_loop=”yes” parallax_video_height=”window-height” parallax_video_overlay=”none” row_overlay_opacity=”0″ row_col_pos=”default” width=”1/1″ el_position=”first last”] [spb_column col_sm=”6″ padding_horizontal=”0″ width=”1/2″ el_position=”first”] [spb_text_block animation=”none” animation_delay=”0″ simplified_controls=”yes” custom_css_percentage=”no” padding_vertical=”0″ padding_horizontal=”0″ margin_vertical=”0″ custom_css=”margin-top: 0px;margin-bottom: 0px;” border_size=”0″ border_styling_global=”default” width=”1/1″ el_position=”first last”] Your Tennis Director (or other approved members) can create multiple reservations at once on your grid. It’s possible to reserve all or some of your courts, on multiple days of the week, for up to 52 weeks in a row. This could be used to block off your grid, but keep in mind, we also offer another set of tools, called Special Cases for disabling the grid at certain times on a weekly basis. What we’ll discuss below has the advantage of creating an actual reservation, associating it with a Reservation Type and Grid Note. As it is an actual reservation, to remove it from the grid, it would need to be cancelled. Whereas our Special Cases options are easy to toggle on or off. As an example, let’s book Courts 1 and 2 every Monday morning for the next 8 weeks. To begin we’ll tap Court 1 at 8am on the grid… [/spb_text_block] [/spb_column] [spb_column col_sm=”6″ padding_horizontal=”0″ width=”1/2″ el_position=”last”] [spb_image image=”4183″ image_size=”full” frame=”noframe” caption_pos=”hover” remove_rounded=”yes” fullwidth=”no” overflow_mode=”none” link_target=”_self” lightbox=”no” intro_animation=”none” animation_delay=”200″ width=”1/1″ el_position=”first last”][/spb_image] [/spb_column] [spb_divider type=”standard” text=”Go to top” top_margin=”0px” bottom_margin=”30px” fullwidth=”no” width=”1/1″ el_position=”first last”] [/spb_row] [spb_row element_name=”Row” wrap_type=”content-width” parallax_image_height=”content-height” parallax_image_movement=”fixed” parallax_image_speed=”0.5″ bg_video_loop=”yes” parallax_video_height=”window-height” parallax_video_overlay=”none” row_overlay_opacity=”0″ row_col_pos=”default” width=”1/1″ el_position=”first last”] [spb_column col_sm=”4″ padding_horizontal=”0″ width=”1/3″ el_position=”first”] [spb_text_block animation=”none” animation_delay=”0″ simplified_controls=”yes” custom_css_percentage=”no” padding_vertical=”0″ padding_horizontal=”0″ margin_vertical=”0″ custom_css=”margin-top: 0px;margin-bottom: 0px;” border_size=”0″ border_styling_global=”default” width=”1/1″ el_position=”first last”] On the next page, we’ll fill in the same details that any member would normally see when booking a court. Setting Limits to How Often a Member can Reserve Posted on October 14, 2019October 14, 2019 by Justin at PoolDues [spb_text_block animation=”none” animation_delay=”0″ simplified_controls=”yes” custom_css_percentage=”no” padding_vertical=”0″ padding_horizontal=”0″ margin_vertical=”0″ custom_css=”margin-top: 0px;margin-bottom: 0px;” border_size=”0″ border_styling_global=”default” width=”1/2″ el_position=”first”] On the Reservation Settings page your Tennis Director can set the Max Reservations and Max Daily Reservations to limit how often members can reserve. Max Reservations specifies the max total number of court bookings a member can have on the grid at once. Max Daily Reservations specifies the max total each day (we recommend 1 for this option). Setting a Pinned Note to Tennis Grid Page Posted on October 14, 2019October 14, 2019 by Justin at PoolDues [spb_text_block animation=”none” animation_delay=”0″ simplified_controls=”yes” custom_css_percentage=”no” padding_vertical=”0″ padding_horizontal=”0″ margin_vertical=”0″ custom_css=”margin-top: 0px;margin-bottom: 0px;” border_size=”0″ border_styling_global=”default” width=”1/2″ el_position=”first”] On the Reservation Settings page your Tennis Director can post a note at the top of the court grid page by setting the Pinned Note to Tennis Grid Page. This is a quick way to remind people about upcoming tennis events or to just tell them to empty the court trash cans. Optionally you can add a URL or email address to the field below, to make it a link. This note also appears in our apps when the grid first loads up. This note can be viewed by anyone able to see the tennis grid (for example, non-member tennis teams will often check your grid to see which court they have been assigned to). Setting the number of days in advance members can reserve Posted on October 14, 2019October 14, 2019 by Justin at PoolDues [spb_text_block animation=”none” animation_delay=”0″ simplified_controls=”yes” custom_css_percentage=”no” padding_vertical=”0″ padding_horizontal=”0″ margin_vertical=”0″ custom_css=”margin-top: 0px;margin-bottom: 0px;” border_size=”0″ border_styling_global=”default” width=”1/1″ el_position=”first last”] Your Tennis Director has the option to limit the number of days in advance members can reserve a court. Simply type in the maximum number of days in advance you want to allow people to reserve a court. For example, setting 5 below would make it so members can only reserve a court 5 days in advance. If it is currently Friday, members can reserve a court for Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, but not past that. [/spb_text_block] [spb_image image=”4163″ image_size=”full” frame=”noframe” caption_pos=”hover” remove_rounded=”yes” fullwidth=”no” overflow_mode=”none” link_target=”_self” lightbox=”no” intro_animation=”none” animation_delay=”200″ width=”1/1″ el_position=”first last”][/spb_image] [spb_text_block animation=”none” animation_delay=”0″ simplified_controls=”yes” custom_css_percentage=”no” padding_vertical=”0″ padding_horizontal=”0″ margin_vertical=”0″ custom_css=”margin-top: 0px;margin-bottom: 0px;” border_size=”0″ border_styling_global=”default” width=”1/1″ el_position=”first last”] This number can be any value you choose – every club is different, so choose the number of days in advance that works best for you. If you don’t want to limit this field, you can easily type in 365 and allow members a full year to reserve a court in advance.
