Overview
Discount codes can be added at checkout or automatically applied to specific Membership Products. Codes can automatically expire, making this is an easy way to temporarily reduce the cost of your memberships and incentivize paying early.
Get Started on an Early Bird Special
Need cash to make it through the winter? From the Board Dashboard head over to the Financial Section and find the Discount Codes link to start encouraging members to pay early!

With great discounts, comes great responsibility...
Start with an internal description for your discount, add the actual code of your choosing, then decide how much should be shaved off the product price. Discounts can be a flat amount (for example, $30 off) or percentage of the total (for example, 30% off).
Choose which products to apply it to...
Discount codes can be applied to any product, a specific products, or Membership products by type. For example, your club might create a code to reduce all Yearly Memberships by $30. The same code shouldn't be applicable to a membership that bills at $50 per month, as it would reduce the monthly cost too much.

Set it and forget it...
Add an optional start or expiration date to your discount codes so members can only use them during a specific timeframe. If a member doesn't purchase in time and complains they need an extension, you can easily change the expiration or say "tough luck, that code expired."
Add discounts to invoices or send members the code itself to enter in the cart...
Your approved board members, can mass email early-bird invoices to your members with discount codes automatically added to the shopping cart. Discount codes can also be made public on Facebook, sent in newsletters, printed on flyers, etc and then entered manually at checkout in the "Have a Discount Field".
